The Gleaners
The Gleaners is the experimental duo of composer-performers Laetitia Sonami and Matt Robidoux, whose work explores improvisation, gesture, sound objects, and the poetic possibilities of everyday materials. Drawing on Sonami’s pioneering electronic instruments and Robidoux’s idiosyncratic “corn synth” practice, the pair creates immersive performances that blur composition, installation, and sonic theater. The Gleaners frequently collaborate with media artist Paul DeMarinis and have appeared at independent venues and festivals dedicated to adventurous music.
